Observed at length: a nocturnal creature of the studio, first sighted in the Kenyan creative wild in the year 2020, moving between the still and the moving image with uncommon patience.
Formerly Zienfilms, now ZienLab, a laboratory for experimental visual storytelling. I'm a visual designer and digital creative with over six years in animation, 3D, and AI-assisted image-making.
Today I lead communications and digital strategy at Breakthrough Leadership Transformation, while directing post-production at Boxraft, serving CBK, Kenya Airways, Britam & Safaricom, and where I founded Boxraft Academy to raise creatives straight from campus into working visual artists.
What I care about, past the craft: teaching. Patient, intentional, generous with what I know. A field only grows when its elders bother to show the way.
Before the studio, there was the camera: from 2016 to 2022 I ran my own YouTube real-estate channel · six years learning story, edit and audience the hard way, on my own name.
